🎉 We are excited to announce that for the third year in a row, our amazing Underhound Railroad volunteer WINTER PAGE is raising money for our rescue dogs in partnership with Pier 1 Pizza & Pub in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, and with Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Chief felt so loved for his birthday! 🎉🐶
Thank you to everyone who sent gifts from his wishlist. He received some amazing goodies including his Lambchop stuffie, a bag of food, and a cot (pictured), plus treats, a Kong, and a ball. 💙 We don’t know who all the gifts came from, but we truly appreciate every bit of support.
His foster is especially excited about the cot and has already been working on "place" and "break" commands with him. We can’t wait to share videos soon of Chief showing off his new skills! 🐾

It’s Chief’s Birthday!!! 🎉 He's officially 6 years old. 💛
This sweet, goofy boy has spent another year being the best companion anyone could ask for. He’s professionally leash trained, loves his walks, and is just as happy curling up for a nap right by your side.
What he really wants for his birthday this year is a furever home. Chief has been waiting patiently, and he deserves a family to celebrate all of life’s little moments with. 🏠

Cuteness and charisma for days? You’re looking at it!
Nolan is a 7 year old Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) who is every bit as charming as he is adorable! Nolan is happy, social, well-adjusted, extremely affectionate, and absolutely LOVES being with people. He would thrive in a home where his adopters are retired or work from home. Nolan adores going for walks, chasing his ball outside, and is also a big fan of snuggling on the couch. He’s also the ideal traveling companion: he’ll curl up and snooze during the ride, and wake up cheerful and ready for adventure when you arrive! 😍
Nolan is a bit of a nosy neighbor, and will keep you alerted to all of the comings and goings outside. People, squirrels, passing dogs: he’s on top of it, and has something to say about it! Once his duty is done, he quiets down quickly. But because of his devotion to providing vocal neighborhood watch services, he is probably not best suited for apartment living.
In his previous home, Nolan enjoyed visits from children, but would prefer not to live with them full time. He does tend to get a little growly over his toys. He has lived with dogs, and could happily cohabitate with a friendly, respectful, gentle dog, but he would not object to being your only pampered pup! He is currently living with cats, and seems wary but willing to coexist. 🐶🐱
Nolan was recently groomed, and will require an adopter committed to regular groomer visits to keep him comfortable and looking his spiffy best. He is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. 🩺
All Nolan wants is to share his heart and his zest for life with some lucky person. Is it you?

This sweet 8 year old is ready to fill someone’s basket with love. Elle is calm, affectionate, and happiest just being close to her people. She gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only.
