Meet Pinky, your future best friend! ⭐ This 3 year old, 45lb pocket pittie is full of love, energy and fun! She is crate & potty trained plus knows all her commands. As a graduate of Proactive Dog Training’s Ultimate Dog Package, she has mastered sit, stay, down and more. Pinky is a fetch fanatic, loves her bones and enjoys playtime. She is also a pro at lounging! Whether it is soaking up the sun in a cozy chair or curling up for a nap, she knows how to relax. 😌 While Pinky grew up with a dog and cat, she was not well socialized with new dogs, so she is still a work in progress when meeting them. She does well on walks but is not ready for dog parks or doggie daycare. Pinky would thrive as the only dog in the home and would love an active family for fetch, jogs, and cuddles! 💛

💙 Boomer’s Update 💙

Because of your generosity, we were able to move forward with Boomer’s chest X-rays and bone biopsy. The best news so far is that there are no signs of metastasis on his X-rays! He also did great for his procedure and is rocking a little bald spot on his head where they took the biopsy. We are hopeful to have results this week or next. 🩺

As we wait for answers, we are starting the search for a very special foster or adopter for Boomer. He needs a loving home as a furever foster, where Underhound Railroad will cover his medical care, or a compassionate adopter willing to give him a furever home, knowing his time may be short.

We will share updates as we get them, but for now, we just want to say thank you for being part of Boomer’s journey. Your support means the world to him! 🐾💛

A Masterpiece puppy has found their furever home. Monet is the first of her siblings to be adopted and is settling in beautifully with her new family. Monet is already a true city girl, loving her walks and soaking up all the love at home. Her favorite activity? Cuddling on the couch, of course! Da Vinci is wondering when he will find his furever home. Look at him in serious thought, ready to steal your heart! ❤️ Da Vinci is a 15 week old puppy who will surely win you over with his playful personality. He loves playing with all types of toys and romping around with his siblings. Recently, he had a blast jumping in the snow in North Carolina. ❄️ It is clear he is a pup full of energy and curiosity! Da Vinci is also hard at work on his potty and crate training. He is eager to continue learning and growing with his future family. 🏠

Thanks to so many generous supporters, we are just $375 away from fully funding Boomer’s medical care. 🩺 His vet suspects an aggressive form of bone cancer, and we are raising funds for the chest X-rays and bone biopsy to get a full diagnosis. 🩻 Boomer is such a sweet boy and are committed to giving him the best care possible. February brought two special new Underhounds into our care! Meet Elle and Pinky! 💕

🐶 Elle is a sweet senior at 8 years old who spent too long in a rural shelter. She is heartworm positive and has arthritis but she has already been to the vet for evaluation. Elle is settling into her foster home where she is getting plenty of love and comfort.

🐾 Pinky is a 3 year old pocket pittie with an infectious smile and an unstoppable joy for life! She lost her family due to hard times and has been in a home that cared for her, but she needed the help of a rescue to find her furever family.

Both of these girls are now safe and getting everything they need while they wait for their perfect homes! Stay tuned for updates as they settle in.

We loved Elle at the shelter. Elle never showed her age. Out in the yard she was running round enjoying the fresh air. Thank you so much for rescuing Elle and hope she finds her family❤️🐾
