Tinkerbell

Looking for a loyal, loving sidekick with just the right mix of play and snuggles? Meet Tinkerbell! Tinkerbell is a 5 year old pittie with a sleek black coat, bright eyes, and a heart full of love. She’s the perfect balance of playful and calm. Just as happy zooming around the yard as she is curled up next to you for some well earned cuddle time. She’s got a playful streak that will make you smile every day. Whether she’s tossing a ball around by herself or chasing the water hose with joy and determination, Tinkerbell knows how to have fun! Indoors, she’s incredibly affectionate and sweet. She lives for couch cuddles and quality time with her people. Tinkerbell has received ongoing professional training and is thriving with structure and routine. Her trainer describes her as “soft,” meaning she’s sensitive, connected, and eager to please. She’s also learning how to feel confident and calm in her surroundings, and she takes direction beautifully from people she trusts. She’s crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on leash. She enjoys enrichment toys (especially Kongs with yogurt or peanut butter), and her dream day includes a walk, some playtime, and curling up with her favorite human at the end of it. Tinkerbell enjoys meeting new people and has done well with respectful children. She would love a home where she can continue to feel safe and supported.  A home where she can be your one-and-only or share the space with a calm, easygoing dog who understands personal space. With slow, thoughtful introductions, she’s shown she can happily coexist and feel at ease. Tinkerbell’s story is one of resilience and love. She spent 8 months as a stray before trusting someone enough to accept help—right after giving birth under a shed. Since her rescue, she’s blossomed in foster care and is now fully ready to find her furever home. Her adoption fee is partially sponsored ($150 already covered!), and she’s ready to start her next chapter. Tinkerbell is currently fostered in North Carolina and can be transported to an approved adopter along the East Coast, as far north as Maine. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion into your life, Tinkerbell is ready to meet you! Apply here to adopt: https://underhoundrailroad.org/adoptionprocess/

Bruno

Meet Bruno! He’s a lovable, playful guy with an infectious smile and a heart full of joy. At 65 lbs, Bruno isn’t exactly a lap dog though he wishes he could be! He definitely loves to shower his humans with affection. Bruno is friendly with everyone he meets and never a stranger to anyone. We think he’d do best as the only dog in the home. With slow and proper introductions, Bruno can make new friends with other dogs that are willing to join in on the fun. Bruno has the most adorable face with one ear that stands up and the other that flops—how cute is that? He’s a big fan of treats, toys, and frozen goodies to help him stay cool. While he loves to run after thrown objects, he’s still figuring out the whole “fetching” thing. Bruno walks well on a leash but needs more practice with not pulling since his current foster home has a nice fenced yard where he spends most of his time. He’s house trained and crate trained, and when left loose in the house, he behaves himself like a good boy. Bruno would thrive in a home with kids aged 10 and older due to his exuberance and his not-so-small size. His favorite spot to relax? The couch! Bruno loves sprawling out on the sectional, though he’s always happy to make room for his people. He’s also a big fan of giving sweet kisses and cuddles to show his love.

Bruno is so ready to meet his furever family, and his adoption fee has been partially sponsored, with $300 of the fee covered, so now’s the perfect time to make him part of your family. Ready to make Bruno’s dreams come true? Apply for adoption today at www.underhoundrailroad.org!

Bruno is currently fostered in South Carolina but can be transported along the East Coast to his new family, as far North as Maine. Don’t miss out on this happy boy who’s excited to share his love and energy with you!

Elle

Elle is an 8 year old Lab mix with boba eyes and a heart full of syrupy sweet love! Like your favorite cup of bubble tea, she’s comforting, a little squishy, and full of joy in every snuggle. Her big, round eyes? Think soft tapioca pearls—soulful, sweet, and totally irresistible. Elle is currently being fostered in North Carolina, but she can be transported straight into your arms and heart!  Elle is great with other dogs but would also thrive as your one and only cuddle buddy. Chief

Meet Chief — your new best friend and walking buddy!  Chief is a 6 year old boxer/pittie mix with a striking white coat and adorable brown spots, a squishy bully face, and a loving personality that makes him impossible not to adore. ✨

What makes Chief special? He has a strong leash training foundation and is a genuinely enjoyable walking companion. He doesn’t drag you down the street. Walks with Chief are steady and something to look forward to. If you want a dog you can actually enjoy walking, Chief delivers. Chief is the perfect mix of chill and engaged. He’s not high-energy, but he lives for his daily walks, neighborhood outings, and tagging along with his person. He currently goes to work with his foster mom, enjoys morning coffee runs (puppuccino included!), and settles in easily wherever he goes. Car rides? Loves them – he hops right in and lounges like a king. At home? Crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. Training? Knows commands like “sit,” “crate,” and “let’s go” and is eager to keep learning. He’s very food and praise motivated. Fun? Treat puzzles, fetch and a stuffed Kong are his absolute favorites. Chief has a solid leash foundation and truly enjoys getting out and exploring. Like many dogs, he’s still building confidence around some busier or fast moving surroundings, but he’s made great progress and continues to improve with consistency and guidance.

He gets along well with calm, low – to medium energy dogs and is a respectful, easygoing housemate. He’s not much of a rough player, but he coexists nicely with other mellow pups, including smaller or senior dogs. Because of his size (around 50 lbs) and occasional goofy moments, Chief would do best in a home with adults or older kids (teens+).

Why Chief? He’s one of those “hidden gem” dogs – easy to live with, devoted to his people, and happiest just being by your side. Whether you’re running errands, heading out for a walk, or relaxing at home, Chief is all in. Chief is currently being fostered in North Carolina and can be transported along the East Coast to his forever home.

Bella (Pending)

In early March, Bella was heartbreakingly ditched in a neighborhood when a car drove off and left her behind. She’s safe now and officially part of the rescue and we’re so excited to introduce her to you all!

Bella recently had her first vet visit and is overall healthy. She’s about 4 years old and 35 lbs, making her a perfect medium sized companion. Our vet believes Bella has had puppies in her past, but those days are behind her as she has now been spayed by the rescue.

Bella’s personality is just as lovely as her sweet face. She’s a super chill girl who isn’t high energy at all. Honestly, Bella would be perfectly happy lounging beside you and keeping you company all day long. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people.

Bella has been through a lot, and now she deserves a family who will never leave her behind again. If you’ve been looking for a calm, loving companion, Bella might be your girl.
