Tinkerbell
Looking for a loyal, loving sidekick with just the right mix of play and snuggles? Meet Tinkerbell! Tinkerbell is a 5 year old pittie with a sleek black coat, bright eyes, and a heart full of love. She’s the perfect balance of playful and calm. Just as happy zooming around the yard as she is curled up next to you for some well earned cuddle time. She’s got a playful streak that will make you smile every day. Whether she’s tossing a ball around by herself or chasing the water hose with joy and determination, Tinkerbell knows how to have fun! Indoors, she’s incredibly affectionate and sweet. She lives for couch cuddles and quality time with her people. Tinkerbell has received ongoing professional training and is thriving with structure and routine. Her trainer describes her as “soft,” meaning she’s sensitive, connected, and eager to please. She’s also learning how to feel confident and calm in her surroundings, and she takes direction beautifully from people she trusts. She’s crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on leash. She enjoys enrichment toys (especially Kongs with yogurt or peanut butter), and her dream day includes a walk, some playtime, and curling up with her favorite human at the end of it. Tinkerbell enjoys meeting new people and has done well with respectful children. She would love a home where she can continue to feel safe and supported. A home where she can be your one-and-only or share the space with a calm, easygoing dog who understands personal space. With slow, thoughtful introductions, she’s shown she can happily coexist and feel at ease. Tinkerbell’s story is one of resilience and love. She spent 8 months as a stray before trusting someone enough to accept help—right after giving birth under a shed. Since her rescue, she’s blossomed in foster care and is now fully ready to find her furever home. Her adoption fee is partially sponsored ($150 already covered!), and she’s ready to start her next chapter. Tinkerbell is currently fostered in North Carolina and can be transported to an approved adopter along the East Coast, as far north as Maine. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion into your life, Tinkerbell is ready to meet you! Apply here to adopt: https://underhoundrailroad.org/adoptionprocess/
Bruno
Meet Bruno! He’s a lovable, playful guy with an infectious smile and a heart full of joy. At 65 lbs, Bruno isn’t exactly a lap dog though he wishes he could be! He definitely loves to shower his humans with affection. Bruno is friendly with everyone he meets and never a stranger to anyone. We think he’d do best as the only dog in the home. With slow and proper introductions, Bruno can make new friends with other dogs that are willing to join in on the fun. Bruno has the most adorable face with one ear that stands up and the other that flops—how cute is that? He’s a big fan of treats, toys, and frozen goodies to help him stay cool. While he loves to run after thrown objects, he’s still figuring out the whole “fetching” thing. Bruno walks well on a leash but needs more practice with not pulling since his current foster home has a nice fenced yard where he spends most of his time. He’s house trained and crate trained, and when left loose in the house, he behaves himself like a good boy. Bruno would thrive in a home with kids aged 10 and older due to his exuberance and his not-so-small size. His favorite spot to relax? The couch! Bruno loves sprawling out on the sectional, though he’s always happy to make room for his people. He’s also a big fan of giving sweet kisses and cuddles to show his love.
Bruno is so ready to meet his furever family, and his adoption fee has been partially sponsored, with $300 of the fee covered, so now’s the perfect time to make him part of your family. Ready to make Bruno’s dreams come true? Apply for adoption today at www.underhoundrailroad.org!

When the fun winds down, she’s happy to lounge on the couch, keeping an eye on her foster mom and doggie friends. She’s the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy companionship. Birdie can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but her excitement shines through once she warms up. She’s affectionate, loves belly rubs, and thrives on being close to her humans. Pinky
Looking for your soulmate in dog form? Meet Pinky! Pinky is a 3 year-old, 45 pound pocket pittie with a heart of gold, a love of fetch, and snuggles for days. She’s not just adorable, she’s the whole package: smart, sweet, playful, and ready to be your new best friend. Pinky is an absolute star student. She graduated from the Ultimate Dog Training Program at Proactive Dog Training in Cary, NC, and knows all her commands: sit, down, stay, here, yes, no, and out. She’s also crate trained, potty trained, and rocks her “place” command like a pro. Whether it’s time to relax or get moving, Pinky listens and responds with enthusiasm. She’s easy to live with and even easier to love. Her energy is just right: enough to keep you active and laughing, but not over the top. She loves fetch (like, really loves it), sniff-and-seek games, and mental enrichment. Though she’s just as happy to curl up with a chew bone and snooze beside you. A walk, a little play, and a lot of love is all she needs. Pinky is the ultimate cuddle buddy. She’s affectionate, goofy, and will happily be your little shadow around the house. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share life with someone who will greet you like a hero every time you come home, this is your girl! She’s currently living with another dog and does well with calm, respectful pups. She’s not one for dog parks or high-energy dog play, but she can absolutely thrive with one dog companion or as your one and only. In fact, she’d love being the center of your world! Pinky would thrive in a home that loves a little adventure walks, jogs, play sessions and is ready to welcome a truly devoted, well-trained dog into the family. If you’re ready to fall in love with a dog who gives you her whole heart, Pinky is ready to give you everything she’s got. Maverick
Meet Maverick or Mav, if you’re friends (which you will be in no time)! This handsome fella is the total package. Mav is playful, affectionate, and full of personality! At around 1.5 years old, Mav is past the puppy stage but still brimming with that joyful, goofy energy we all love in a young Lab/Shepherd mix (that’s our best guess—whatever his breed, he’s 100% adorable). Maverick lives for playtime. Whether it’s zooming around the yard, tossing his stuffies, or proudly showing off his beloved Lambchop toy. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and super eager to please, making him a fast learner and a great partner for continued training. Mav adores other dogs and would absolutely thrive with a playful pup sibling! He’s the life of the doggy party and especially loves a good game of chase. He’s still learning how to tailor his playstyle to more chill companions, but he’s a sweet boy who responds well to gentle redirection. If your pup loves to romp, Maverick will be their new best friend! After all the fun, Mav knows how to relax and unwind whether that’s lounging on the couch or curling up nearby for a snooze. At about 50 bs, he’s full grown and full of love, with a heart as big as his happy, wagging tail. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and endlessly entertaining sidekick who brings smiles wherever he goes, Maverick just might be your perfect match. Mav is currently being fostered in North Carolina and can be transported to his furever home. Send in your adoption application today at https://underhoundrailroad.org/adoption-application/.
Chief
Chief is a charming and handsome 5 year old with a sweet bully face, a heart full of love, and a personality that wins everyone over, especially the ladies! This loyal guy is all about his people and thrives when included in daily life, whether you’re hanging out at home, heading out for a walk, or running errands together. Chief isn’t overly active, but he lives for his daily walks. They’re his favorite part of the day! He makes the perfect walking companion and enjoys strolling around campus with his foster mom, exploring the neighborhood, and visiting local parks. He currently accompanies his foster mom to work, loves morning puppuccino runs, and looks forward to every stroll. He’s also a great car buddy. He jumps right in with no hesitation, settles quickly in the back seat, and usually lounges out, taking up all the room like a king on his throne. Whether it’s a short trip or a longer ride, Chief’s calm and relaxed nature makes traveling with him a breeze. Chief is crate and potty trained, sleeps soundly through the night in his big dog bed, and listens like a pro when called. Chief knows basic commands like “sit” and “crate” and is actively learning more every day! He’s food and praise motivated, making training a fun bonding experience. He also enjoys enrichment activities and treat puzzles. A stuffed Kong, he considers the ultimate treat. Chief does well living with medium to low energy dogs, including small breeds and seniors. While he’s not one to roughhouse or initiate play with other pups, he’s a respectful housemate and would do well with other easy-going housemates. Affectionate and friendly, Chief would do best in a home with adults or older kids (teens+), simply because of his size (50lbs) and goofy energy. He’s a great match for someone who wants a devoted companion by their side through thick and thin and doesn’t mind some snuggles along the way. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Chief could be your perfect match! Chief is currently being fostered in North Carolina and can be transported along the East Coast as far north as Maine to his adoptive home. Ready to make Chief a part of your life? Faline
Looking for a playful, loyal, and quirky little companion? Meet Faline, a beautiful brown and tan Chihuahua mix with long legs, perky ears, and a heart full of love. At just 10 pounds, she’s the perfect pint sized 2 year old for someone who wants a best friend to share the couch and the fun! Faline is crate trained and has excellent potty manners. She’ll use potty pads if needed, though she definitely prefers to go outside.
A secure, fenced in yard is a must for her. She absolutely loves to zoom around and stretch those long legs! Still young and full of energy, Faline would thrive in a home with another small, playful dog to wrestle and romp with. Playtime with her canine pals has been key in helping her come out of her shell, and she truly needs a doggie friend to keep her happy and engaged. She’s also a great candidate for doggie daycare, where she can enjoy both canine companionship and mental stimulation.
Faline is a sensitive soul who bonds deeply with her person. She adores being close to her humans — so much so that she’s been known to leap over baby gates just to be near them! She’d do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, unless she has the option of attending daycare. Though a bit shy at first, Faline has blossomed into a spunky, affectionate girl. She’s full of curiosity, tail wags, and playful energy and belly rubs are her absolute favorite. Once she feels safe, you’ll be rewarded with zoomies, cuddles, and her sweet, loyal devotion.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a playful pup with lots of love to give, Faline is ready to meet you. Apply to adopt Faline here:https://underhoundrailroad.org/adoption-application/ Faline is currently being fostered in North Carolina and can be transported to her furever home.
Daisy
At just 8 weeks old, Daisy is already stealing hearts with her playful personality and the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen! This gorgeous pup is full of energy, curiosity, and love. She’s ready to find a family to grow up with. Daisy is a big fan of playtime and doesn’t hold back. Whether she’s romping around with her doggie friends or playing with her humans, she gives it her all! She’s spirited, social, and always up for fun. We believe Daisy may have some herding breed in her mix, so she would do best with a family familiar with the energy and smarts that come with those breeds. She’s already showing signs of being a quick learner and will thrive with guidance, structure, and lots of positive reinforcement. As a young pup, Daisy is still working on all the puppy basics such as crate training, potty training, and learning her manners so her future family should be ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Daisy is currently being fostered in Maine and can’t wait to meet her forever family. Think this blue-eyed beauty might be the perfect fit for your home?
